If there's one thing that our cheeky crew loves more than sips, giggles, and causing low-stakes chaos in the stockroom, it's a good day out (believe it or not, there's not much to do in Lapland besides snowball fights and tipsy sleigh races).
Sure, they meant to send you this guide before the DP World Tour and Dubai Airshow. After all, they did attempt a hole-in-one at Jumeirah Golf Estates (although it just resulted in uncontrolled swings and corks flying everywhere) and unsuccessfully tried trading their hot-air balloon for a jet at the Airshow. But someone spiked the cocoa, and the schedule went sideways. It happens (more often than you’d think with these troublemakers).
But don't worry: the biggest, boldest, most brilliantly bonkers events of the season are still ahead. And the elves have been waiting impatiently for this one…
There's nothing the elves love more than sprinting around in tiny shoes, so naturally, they're obsessed with the Emirates Dubai 7s. Some might even say that's why they decided to relocate Santa's workshop to the desert. And what is there not to like?
Outrageous costumes, big energy, louder crowds, better food and bevvy stands all over, phenomenal artists and world-class rugby all in one place... it can't get any better! I've even heard Tomo San, Cosmo & Tini plotting something about joining a team because "they're practically the right height for a scrum." Ahem. I'll let security handle that.
Though beyond the mischief, they have actually been helpful (some might disagree, but they sure helped kick it up a notch). They raided MMI's warehouses and disrupted the event organisation until they got what they wanted: the most spectacular drinks activations the 7s have ever seen! They didn't just show up at the 7s. They transformed it into Dubai's ultimate drinks hub.
Here’s what awaits you:
Beats On 2 isn't just any zone. Oh no. It's the elves’ playground! A fabulous outdoor bar-meets-DJ-lounge where you can watch world-class rugby on Pitch 1 while electronic beats fill the air. You can expect surprises, giveaways, and delicious frozen cocktails (inspired by the elves’ homeland), available there only. This is where the party truly begins.
Saturday: Tinie Tempah takes over with his hits like "Pass Out" and "Written in the Stars."
Sunday: DJ EZ, the UK garage legend, closes the weekend with pure technical mastery.
What you’ll find at Beats On 2:

These ready-to-drink cocktails know how to shake things up, and they're bringing a fun basketball activation to Beats On 2 (because why should rugby have all the fun? The elves demanded variety, and Funkin delivered).
And whether you’re attempting a slam dunk or showing off your dance moves, you can do it with a bar-quality cocktail in a can! Funkin Passion Fruit Martini, Espresso Martini, and other favourites, all crafted with real fruit and premium spirits, deliver that signature creamy foam head and velvety smooth texture thanks to the nitrogen infusion technology Funkin uses. The elves have been testing the quality (extensively) and can confirm: they're dangerously drinkable.

Everybody’s favourite aperitif! Catch the festival's most-loved golden hour cocktail at the MMI Beats On 2 Terrace, just before Tinie Tempah lights up the crowd.
There's something magical about that first sip of Aperol Spritz as the sun dips behind The Sevens Stadium, and the elves have claimed the best spot on the terrace (good luck trying to move them).

Beyond Beats On 2, this cheeky crew has scattered drink destinations across The Sevens Stadium, each one offering its own flavour of festivity.
Here's where to find the elves causing mischief (and mixing magic) at every corner:
This is THE spot to sip a classic JD cocktail while discovering the next wave of breakthrough artists at the Brewfest Stage. Here, tribute bands and rising local acts keep the energy flowing all weekend long.
Jack Daniel's smooth Tennessee whiskey mixed with cola or ginger is the perfect soundtrack companion. Grandma Casky, our barrel-aged troublemaker, approves.

You won't find cheekier cans around (no wonder it's the elves' favourite!)
Created by All Blacks legends Stephen Donald, Damian McKenzie, and Anton Lienert-Brown, these cans pack a lotta character (just like their makers). Grins brings that Kiwi rugby spirit to Dubai with low-sugar, low-carb, gluten-free vodka seltzers in tropical flavours such as Mango, Pineapple & Soda, or Lemon, Lime & Soda.
Named after McKenzie's cheeky trademark grin before taking a kick, these drinks are all about good times and great mates. The elves tried to convince them to add an elf division to their next tournament. Still awaiting a response.

A Paloma worth cheering for! Find Altos Tequila on the Southstand Terrace, serving the ultimate tequila cocktail when the energy peaks.
Made with Altos Plata tequila, fresh grapefruit, and lime, it's the perfect balance of citrus, fizz, and spirit. Cosmo & Tini, the mixology twins, may or may not have suggested a pineapple garnish, but fear not: the tropical disaster’s been averted. They also found it was the perfect drink to keep the party going, and that you can't actually use it to fuel a hot air balloon. They tried.

The perfect festival sipper for long days and even longer nights. Crafted with British triple-distilled vodka and spring water from England's Cotswolds, High Water is the premium seltzer of choice for those with a thirst for life.
At just 93-99 calories per can, flavours like Mango & Peach, Lemon & Elderflower, and Cucumber & Mint deliver that refreshing taste without the guilt. Plus, they donate 1% of profits to ocean conservation, so you can sip knowing you're helping protect the waters we love. The elves approve of this mission (they've been known to vacation in the North Sea).

“Ain’t no party without sparkle,” said Bubbly Bella, the Cork-Popper-In-Chief! The Zonin Terrazza is your destination for chilled bubbles and Italian energy. There's nothing quite like raising a glass of Zonin Prosecco as the crowd erupts around Pitch 1.
Crisp and refreshing, it's the toast of choice for those celebratory try moments. The elves have been practicing their "chin chin!" but it keeps coming out as "jingle jingle!"

A classic for a reason. Grab an ice-cold brew at the legendary Heineken Tavern, a 7s staple like no other. This is where the rugby faithful gather, where jerseys from every nation mingle, and where Hoppy Hank, our frothy, fizzy, fun-loving elf of beer, somehow ends up leading the crowd chants (badly). There's a reason Heineken has been part of the 7s DNA for years: it just works.

End your day with a bang at the place where you must Absolut-ly party on as Sean Paul, Shaggy, and Fisher take the stage. With iconic views and even more iconic vibes, the Absolut Elevate Deck is where you need to sip on signature cocktails as bold as the beats.
Try Absolut Vodka with fresh lemon and a splash of elderflower, or classic Espresso Martinis to keep you dancing until the final whistle. The elves claim this deck was designed specifically for their height. I cannot confirm this.

The elves are already plotting their next moves. Rumour has it they're planning something spectacular for the upcoming events, but they're keeping tight-lipped (for now). Stay on the lookout for Part 2 of this guide, where they'll spill the beans (or the Aperol Spritz, or even the Absolut Vodka) on what else is coming this season. It’s going to be fast, loud, and absolutely memorable!
Until then, grab your tickets to the Emirates Dubai 7s and join the elves for the biggest party in the Middle East. Just don't challenge them to a rugby match. They play dirty.
Prices: AED 75 (Friday), AED 455 (Saturday/Sunday), AED 595 (3-Day Pass)
The elves send their cheekiest regards and remind you to drink responsibly (unlike them).

The Storyteller. Part word witch, part curious sipper, Celia brews stories to keep your glass (and your mind) topped up.
